Will continue to tour and learn the history of Pompeii, a city destroyed when the nearby volcano, Mount Vesuvius, erupted and was lost under nineteen feet of ash and debris. From there we will visit the scenic city of Sorrento where there is a plethora of sights to see and attractions to visit! We are confident that our tour has something for everyone. Itinerary

Welcome to Rome! Travel to the hotel from the airport and spent your first day in Rome to explore the city on your own! We will pick you up at the hotel at 7:45 pm to visit your first stop Via del Teatro Marcello. Our local expert guide will introduce you to the wonders of Rome. ome is a charming city by day and it is a romantic city during sunset. Our first stop is the Jewish Ghetto. It is considered one of Rome’s prettiest neighbourhoods. Explore the history of Rome and its atmosphere! Rome is famous for its fountains. Turtle Fountain (Fontana Delle Tartarughe) in Piazza Mattei is one of the most beautiful fountains. The oldest Jewish Ghettos in Italy are the ones in Venice and Rome. The Jewish Ghetto of Rome is the most popular spot for the Roman cuisine. We will continue our trip to the next stop: The Piazza Della Rotonda. At the Piazza Della Rotonda you get to enjoy the view of the Pantheon. The Pantheon is a former temple of Marcus Agrippa and became a Christian church later on. No other Roman temple remained in its original form through the centuries. As soon as the crowds leave the Pantheon at night it is even more stunning. Our next stop is the Trevi Fountain. Follow an old tradition! Close your eyes first. Throw a coin over your right shoulder straight into the Trevi Foutain. There is a saying that you are granted to come back to Rome during your lifetime if you do so. We continue our trip to the Piazza di Spagna. The Piazza di Spagna is one of Rome’s most famous squares, because it is at the bottom of the Spanish Steps. Walk to the top of the Spanish steps and enjoy an amazing view! Your walk to the top will be intense and rewarding at the same time. Let us invite you to a delicious Gelato to end your day trip. The tour will finish at the Spanish Steps. You are free to spent the evening as you like and it is up to you return to your accommodation.

We will pick you up at 7:15 am at your hotel with our deluxe coach.
Our first stop is Assisi. Explore Assisi at your own leisure. The walls that surround this small city were build in the Middle Ages. Visit the basilica of St. Francis to admire masterpieces by Giotto and Climabue. Chose your own place for lunch since it’s not included. Our next stop is Siena, a World Unesco World Heritage Site. Siena is world-famous for the Palio. The Palio is a horse race around the Piazza del Campo, a shell-shaped town square. Our next stop will be Florence. Check in at your hotel in Florence and find a great place for dinner before you get a good nights sleep.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast! We will visit Florence, the so-called “Cradle of Renaissance”. In Florence Italian art reached its peak because of the Michelangelo. Florence has Etruscan-Roman origins and redefined itself as a free “Comune” in the Middle Ages before it changed its appearance again in the Renaissance. The innumerable buildings as monuments, churches and buildings like Santa Maria del Fiore (the Duomo) will leave you in awe. The dome who was build by Filippo Brunelleschi will leave you speechless. Our next stop is the “Campanile” tower and the Baptistery, with its bronze doors where Michelangelo imagined the “Gates of Paradise.” In the city center, you will find Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo della Signoria, also called Palazzo Vecchio and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Enjoy lunch at the Piazza Santa Croce in a traditional Tuscan restaurant. Explore Florence during the afternoon on your own or take a short trip to Pisa (optional). Pisa is one of the most important Marine Republics of Italy. In Pisa we will visit the Piazza dei Miracoli with the Duomo, the so-called „Leaning Tower“, and the Baptistery. “The Leaning Tower” is Pisa’s most important symbol. Choose your own place for dinner. We will stay in Florence overnight.

We will start our day with a delicious breakfast in Florence before we leave for Bologna. In Bologna we will visit the elegant city center to see its “porticos“, the shopping streets and the other main attractions. Our starting point is Piazza Malpighi. We will walk to the city center and see Piazza del Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore (Neptune square and Major square). Our next stop is King Renzo’s Palace, Palazzo Podestà and the basilica of San Petronio – one of the most impressive ones in the World. Bologna is one of the best place for delicious food!
Choose a restaurant for lunch at your own leisure.
We will spent the afternoon in Padova. Padova is famous for Sant’ Antonio Basilica, which is one one the most important churches for catholic pilgrims. We will continue our day trip to Venice: the City of Love, one of the most romantic cities of the whole world and, undoubtedly the most beautiful city built by man! After you check in your hotel, look out for a great place for dinner before you get some sleep.

After you start your day with a delicious breakfast we will drive you to Piazza San Marco. You will see the prettiest parts of the “Floating City“: Palazzo dei Dogi and the “Bridge of Sighs“. The Palazzo dei Dogi symbolizes Venice’s glorious past. After the walking tour ends, we would like to invite you for an Spritz or a Prosecco. You can stroll along Venice’s canals during your free afternoon and then return to the hotel and enjoy your night.

We will depart from Piazzale Roma after breakfast to go to Tuscany. Tuscany is world-famous for its beautiful landscapes, churches, castles and its wine. Our next stop is Val di Chiana and we will stop at Montepulciano on the way. Montepulciano is a medieval town with has a rich history and famous art. Its famous for its “Nobile” wine, which you can buy at the local wine houses. Every July the annual Jazz and Wine Festival takes place at Montepulciano. We will invite you for lunch at a traditional Italian restaurant. After lunch, quick stop to spend some free time. In the evening, you will arrive in Rome to check in into your hotel.

Start your day in Rome with a delicious breakfast. We will leave the hotel between 7:45 and 8:00 am to visit the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Square. This tour is included and you will get an exclusive “Skip the Line” access! Do not rush to see the area. After we arrive, your guide will bring you to the museums. You will be able to see one of the most impressive art collections in the World. We will visit the amazing Galleries of Tapestries and Geographical Maps. Our next stop is Raphael’s Rooms and the Sistine Chapel. After you admired this breathtaking masterpiece, we will finish our tour in St. Peter’s Square. At St. Peter’s Square we will visit St. Peter’s Basilica, which is the biggest church in the World! St. Peter’s Square is our final stop. Explore the city on your own leisure. We will stay in Rome over night.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel.The pick-up time is 7:00 am approximately and the meeting point is your hotel! Our coach will drive into the south of Italy. We will cross the area of Lazio and Campania. Our first stop is Naples and short panoramic tour. You will be able to climb to the top of Vomero Hill. From the top of the hill you will enjoy amazing views over the Gulf of Naples. You will get a panoramic view over Vesuvius, Capri, Ischia and Procida as well as parts of Naples. Take great pictures! We will leave the city to travel to the port of Mergellina. We will continue our trip to the South towards Mount Vesuvius. As soon as we arrive at the town of Pompeii, you will get the chance to try real Neapolitan Pizza. Our next stop is one of the most important archaeological sites in the World: The Ruins of Pompeii. They are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and we will provide a Skip the Line entrance and a guided tour for you. Your visit to the Ruins of Pompeii is a chance to travel back to the 79 AD. In this year the eruption of Mount Vesuvius happened and covered Pompeii in deadly volcanic ashes and toxic gases. Pompeii which once was a prosperous city is crystallized until today. You will get more information about how people lived in the past. You will see the houses and „bars“ of 79 AD. Take your time to admire the frescoes and mosaics and let your imagination run wild on how rich and prosperous Pompeii was before the volcanic eruption.We will leave for our next stop Sorrento and pass the Sorrentine Coast on our way. At Sorrento we will eat dinner. The dress code for men is formal. Please wear a jacket. We will stay over night in a new hotel in Sorrento.
