Itinerary
The beginning of your journey in the Highlights of the Jewish State tour.
After passport control, the representative of Click Tours will be waiting to welcome you (with a sign with your name on it) at the arrival lounge, ready to drive your directly to your amazing vacation in Israel.
Overnight: Tel Aviv
The first day begins after breakfast and takes you on a walking tour of Tel Aviv and Jaffa. The tour starts at Rothschild Boulevard, where you will witness some of Tel Aviv’s stunning Bauhaus style architecture. The Boulevard is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will get to enjoy the Independence Hall, which commemorates the declaration of the founding of the state of Israel in May of 1948. From there we travel to Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, where you can enjoy free time at the Nahalat Binyamin Crafts Fair and Carmel Outdoor Market. Revel in the sounds and smells of Tel Aviv and take advantage of the shopping. End your day in Jaffa, the world’s oldest port city.

The beach may be the major tourist attraction, but Tel Aviv has more points of interest than its famous strip of sand. “The City That Never Sleeps” All over the city, flowers blossom, new restaurants open, and there’s always a party going on somewhere. this is a 24 hour city with a unique pulse, combining sandy Mediterranean beaches with a world-class nightlife, a buzzing cultural scene, attractions and museums, shopping children’s activities, incredible food, UNESCO recognized architecture, and an international outlook.
Overnight: Tel Aviv
Enjoy breakfast and check-out of the hotel for a drive south to Rehovot. We start with a stop at Weizmann Institute, which played an essential role in the development of the state. Watch a new and exciting presentation of technology and visit the mansion of Haim Weizmann, who was the first president of Israel. We move on to the city of Caesarea that was built over 2,000 years ago by King Herod the Great. Caesarea has served as an essential Mediterranean port for centuries. You will learn about Caesarea’s part in Jewish history and its role in the Great Revolt of 66 AD. Interact with three-dimensional historical figures brought to life through state-of-the-art technology. Move on through the Carmel Mountains range to Zichron Yaacov and walk through history in one of the earliest settlements of Israel’s first immigration period. Visit the Atlit Detainee Camp that tells the story of the Jewish immigrants who stayed there. The authorities of the British Mandate created the Atlit Detainee Camp in the 1930s. Finally, travel to Haifa, Israel’s major port city. Stop at the Louis Promenade and view the Haifa Bat and the spectacular Baha’I Gardens.

Check out of the hotel after enjoying a delicious Israeli breakfast and begin your journey with a drive through the mountains and valleys of the Galilee region. Stroll through a Galilee Winery during an Israeli wine-tasting tour and witness the wine production process. Move on to Rosh Pina, which was initially founded in 1878 by ultra-orthodox Jews who intended to become farmers. Rosh Pina is one of the oldest colonies of Israel and is currently a lovely town known for its restaurants, cafés, and art galleries. We then drive to Safed (Tzfat) to walk through the ancient portions of the city and listen to the stories of the Kabbalists and their ancient synagogues. The tour of Safed ends with the famous art colony. During the afternoon, visit the spectacular Hula Valley, Israel’s first Nature Reserve. At the center of Hula Valley is the HaHula Tourism Complex, one of the world’s premier centers for bird watching and ornithology.
Overnight: Kibbutz Hotel
Use this day for touring and enjoy northern Israel in an exciting new way. Start by driving into the Golan Heights to visit Mount Bental, which offers the perfect spot for panoramic views of Upper Galilee, the Golan Heights, Mount Hermon, and Syria. Experience Golan Magic, a diverting 3D multi-media adventure viewable on a 180-degree screen. Afterward, walk through a massive model of the Golan Heights, the largest of its kind. Narration and sound and light effects accompany your walk. We then move through The Golan Olive Oil Mill and Visitor Center while a guide explains the olive oil production process and the evolution of production tools from antique to modern machinery. Finish the first half of your day at Mitzpe Gadot, which was once a Syrian base, and which offers awe-inspiring views of the Hula Valley and kibbutzim below. The rest of your day is free! We will happily provide you with a list of spectacular options in the area and provide recommendations for the best options for your party. You can bike, hike, go rappelling, enjoy kayaks, or even try out a gourmet chocolate workshop. Your evening option (seasonal) is a lantern tour in either the Valley of the Lost River or Nimrod Fortress.
Overnight: Kibbutz Hotel
Check out from the Kibbutz hotel and prepare for a touring day. Travel to the Tel Hai Museum, which is dedicated to the 1920 battle led by Joseph Trumpeldor, a nationally loyal hero. Then, we descend to the shores of Lake Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) for a quick trip to Tiberias. Tiberias was an important spiritual center during the Mishna and Talmudic periods. Continue south on the Jordan Valley to find the “Naharayim Experience at Gesher.” Characterized as the “start-up” of last century, the light and sound show includes models who demonstrate the dam system and running water with plenty of colors and sounds to delight everyone. The show illustrates how the desert became a symbol of, and vision for Jewish immigration and industrial development in Israel. Continue the day with a pleasant drive through Jordan Valley’s inspiring landscape to Jerusalem. We will stop at Mt. Scopus when we arrive, to allow for views of the city and a brief explanation of the capital’s past and future.
Overnight: Jerusalem
Enjoy a breakfast at your hotel and start your day touring through the Old City of Jerusalem. Walk through one of the walled city’s gates and view the restored Jewish Quarter, Western Wall (Ha Kotel), colorful bazaars, and the Cardo. Make your way to the City of David and enjoy a virtual reality movie about Kind David’s historical city. Experience a “wet” walking tour of the ancient water system that connects Warren’s Shaft to the Shiloah tunnels (Hezekiah’s Tunnel). Continue to the Archaeological Garden and the new Southern Wall excavations (Davidson Center). These are the same steps once traveled by pilgrims entering the Holy Temple. Thursday is a standard day for Bar Mitzvah celebrations at the Western Wall. While we walk, meet some of the celebrators and wish them a Mazal Tov!
Overnight: Jerusalem
Start with a visit to the graves of Israel’s former prime ministers and soldiers who perished in battle at the Mount Herzl Military Cemetery. Continue to the museum at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial which includes the Valley of the Communities. We will pass the Knesset, Israel’s parliament building, and the famous Menorah, as well as the new home of Israel’s Supreme Court. Travel to the Israel Museum and witness the Shrine of the Book and its display of the Dead Sea Scrolls and visit a model of Jerusalem during the Second Temple period. We continue through to a tour of the Mahane Yehuda Market to experience various local ethnic groups and taste some cultural foods. We the drive to the Western Wall and participate in Kabbalat Shabbat services while the Jewish Sabbath descends upon Jerusalem.

Day at leisure in Jerusalem – or an optional tour to Masada and the Dead Sea (Extra cost). Evening Option – Enjoy a breathtaking sound & light show at the Tower of David citadel. The show is highly recommended due to its unique way of depicting the different periods in Jerusalem’s long history. Duration: Around one hour.

Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for the flight home.
