Itinerary
Upon your arrival at the airport, our driver will be there to welcome you and transport you to your hotel. After settling into your accommodation, head to the renowned hotel Imperiale’s restaurant for a delectable dinner. Enjoy your overnight stay in the Eternal City.
On the second day of your trip to Rome, don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Colosseum, one of the most iconic landmarks of the city. To ensure a hassle-free and enjoyable day, take advantage of our exclusive prime service. Start the day at your hotel and enjoy breakfast before putting on your most comfortable shoes and waiting for our driver to pick you up. You will join a small group of less than 10 people and head to the archaeological area.
Once you arrive, you will have special access to the Colosseum, where expert and passionate guides will take you through the bloody history of the Amphitheater. This massive structure, built from travertine and other durable materials, was capable of holding between 50,000 to 80,000 spectators who eagerly awaited gory shows, such as hunting games and gladiatorial fights.
The tour will also include a guided walk through the Roman Forum, the political and cultural center of Ancient Rome, and a stroll around the Palatine Hill, the spot where Romulus founded the city of Rome and where emperors lived for centuries.
After the tour, you will have free time for lunch and leisure activities. In the afternoon, head to Trastevere (vicolo della Scalaccia 8) to join a family-friendly pizza-making class. Limited to only 12 people, the class takes place at Lo Studio, where you will learn the secrets of making the perfect pizza dough, how to knead it, and how to top it like a pro. You will have the opportunity to experiment with various toppings and recipes while making the pizza yourself.
Once the pizza is ready, indulge in a unique Italian pizza dinner experience by savoring a tasty bruschetta and toasting to the good life with water, wine, or a soft drink included in the package. Afterward, enjoy the delicious pizza you prepared and see whether you have what it takes to be an authentic pizzaiolo.
Finally, spend some time exploring Trastevere on your own. This lively area is home to a variety of restaurants, pubs, and clubs suitable for all ages. At the end of the day, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Rome.
To begin your day, enjoy a satisfying breakfast at your hotel before meeting your driver, who will accompany you to the meeting point to meet your local foodie guide. Get ready to embark on a delightful walking tour through the charming areas of Campo De’ Fiori, Trastevere, and the Jewish Ghetto, where you’ll explore food markets, grocery stores, and gelato shops. We understand that walking can work up an appetite, so we’ve planned several stops along the way for you to indulge in some mouthwatering treats.
Your culinary adventure will kick off with a slice of freshly baked, crispy “Pizza Bianca,” which is Rome’s take on focaccia. It’s filled with thin slices of freshly cut “mortadella,” a classic, easy snack that Romans adore. You’ll also get to taste a “Supplì,” a small ball of deep-fried tomato sauce risotto with a melted mozzarella cheese center, a popular street food among locals. You’ll also enjoy pasta dishes and traditional Roman Jewish cuisine, including “Carciofo alla Giudìa,” a deep-fried artichoke that looks like a tiny sunflower, and “Filetto di Baccalà,” a battered and deep-fried cod fillet. Be sure to save some space for dessert, as our artisan “Gelato” is a must-try!
After the food tour, meet your driver and head to the Vatican area to join a small group of fewer than ten people. You’ll meet your expert guide and tour the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica, with no waiting in lines! The highlights of your visit will include the Gallery of Tapestries, the Geographical Maps, and Raphael’s beautiful rooms before arriving at Michelangelo’s masterpiece, the Sistine Chapel. Following the Sistine Chapel, you’ll be given exclusive access to St. Peter’s Basilica, allowing you to bypass the long lines.
Once the tour is complete, take some leisure time to discover the hidden corners of Rome. Finally, enjoy an overnight stay in Rome to truly experience the city’s unique charm.
Start your morning by embarking on a private tour of Tivoli and its Villas, following a delightful breakfast. You will be accompanied by your personal driver who will transport you to Tivoli, a charming town situated a short distance from Rome. Tivoli is located in a picturesque natural setting, between the Eternal city and the high hills to the east of Rome, and is well-known for its two UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
A significant highlight of the tour is a visit to the grand villa built by Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century AD. This extravagant country residence was a place of retreat for the emperor during his later years. The villa sprawls across an area of over one square kilometer and comprises more than 30 buildings, former thermal stations, and several swimming pools. It served as a display of the emperor’s wealth, power, and extravagance.
During the 16th century, Cardinal Ippolito II d’Este removed much of the remaining marble and statues from Hadrian’s Villa to embellish his own villa, Villa d’Este. The latter is another UNESCO World Heritage Site situated close by. The interiors of Villa d’Este are largely adorned with frescoes, and it is surrounded by a unique garden with an intricate network of pools, water jets, channels, fountains, cascades, and water games. Notably, this fountain system operates entirely on the force of gravity, without the use of pumps.
All in all, your visit to Tivoli promises to be a one-of-a-kind and unforgettable experience. So sit back, relax, and savor your day!
On the fifth day, it will be time to depart and head towards the Rome Airport. After having breakfast at the hotel, we will arrange for your transfer to the airport. This marks the conclusion of our services.
