Your journey concludes with visits to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Salamanca and the medieval treasure of Avila, before returning to Madrid for a memorable Farewell Dinner. Itinerary
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. At 19:00, gather at the hotel’s Reception Desk to meet your Tour Director for a welcome meeting. This is also your chance to get acquainted with your fellow travelers. Your Tour Director will provide you with essential city information and share the schedule for the upcoming day. Get ready to embark on your adventure! The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. You will be staying at your hotel.
Begin your day with a buffet breakfast at your hotel. Set off on a morning exploration of the vibrant city of Madrid, one of the world’s most captivating destinations. Discover its highlights and experience the city’s inherent passion. The afternoon is free for you to further explore the city’s marvels.
Mapping In-Depth: If you wish, you can opt for an excursion to Toledo, a city that served as the capital of the Spanish Kingdom for centuries and is a melting pot of diverse cultures.
In the early evening, join your fellow travelers for an authentic Welcome Tapas Dinner at a local restaurant.

Your first stop is Laguardia, nestled in the heart of La Rioja, a renowned Spanish wine region. Explore the internationally acclaimed vineyards and pay a visit to a traditional, family-run winery. Savor the exquisite Rioja Reds and enjoy a light lunch featuring local products. Afterward, head to Bilbao and enjoy some leisure time. Rest comfortably at your hotel.

The iconic titanium-clad Guggenheim Museum, designed by Frank Gehry, stands out as the city’s most famous landmark. Don’t miss the chance to stroll through the historic “Siete Calles” district, which has been beautifully restored after suffering flood damage in the 1980s. Take some free time to appreciate the esplanade in front of The Guggenheim Museum, where you can marvel at its striking modern architecture.
Next, we journey to San Sebastian, renowned as one of Europe’s most elegant destinations. Savor a traditional Pintxos lunch at the charming Taverns in San Sebastian’s old town. You’ll have free time to relish the beauty of this captivating town, characterized by its stunning bay and the magnificent La Concha beach. To conclude the day, we return to Bilbao for your overnight stay at the hotel.

Your journey starts in Santillana del Mar, a town of great historical and artistic significance in Spain. It contains architectural treasures such as the Collegiate of Santa Ana, a Jewel of the Romanesque Architecture in Cantabria.
Next, head to Covadonga, where you’ll have some free time to visit the Sanctuary and the Grotto, home to the patroness of Asturias, Our Lady of Covadonga.
In the afternoon, your destination is Oviedo. As you approach the city, you’ll witness the breathtaking beauty of the Saint Maria de Naranco Church, a gem of pre-Romanesque Asturian architecture, perched on a series of hills. Enjoy some free time to wander through Oviedo, with many pedestrian streets to explore. Don’t miss the chance to see World Heritage sites like the Cathedral, a splendid example of Gothic Asturian architecture.

Start your day with a buffet breakfast at your hotel. Today, we venture into the captivating Galician landscapes. En route to Lugo, we make a brief stop in Mondoñedo. Here, you can explore the 13th-century Cathedral and savor the delectable “Mondoñedo’s cake” at your own pace.
Our journey continues to Lugo, where you can take a leisurely stroll through the Roman ruins, including the iconic city walls.
Finally, we arrive at the sacred grounds of Santiago de Compostela, renowned as the most significant Christian pilgrimage destination in Spain. This city marks the culmination of the historic Camino de Santiago route, established during the Roman Empire. Check in to your hotel for a night’s stay.

Absorb the fervor of Obradoiro Square and the Cathedral dedicated to the Apostle Santiago (entrance NOT included). The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.
Mapping In-Depth: Optional Gallegan Dinner with Queimada
Indulge in a traditional Gallegan dinner amidst the charming old town of Santiago. Delight in the regional delicacy of octopus and savor other specialties like ‘raxo,’ meat tacos served with potatoes. Following dinner, partake in a time-honored queimada ritual, where the Gallegan spirits are summoned through an ‘esconxuro’ incantation, accompanied by the preparation of a unique alcoholic drink made from ‘aguardiente’ liquor and various ingredients.

This walled town has witnessed millennia of history. Spend some leisurely moments here before returning to Madrid. Conclude the day with a final Farewell Dinner alongside your fellow travelers.
