Tour Overview

Explore Normandy’s highlights on a two-day tour with guide-interpreter. Day one covers Rouen, Honfleur, and the Landing Beaches, while day two focuses on Saint-Malo and Mont Saint Michel.

Itinerary

Day 1: Paris - Rouen - Honfleur - Caen

Depart from the central Paris meeting point at 7:15 am. Board the air-conditioned coach and travel through western Paris to the Normandy motorway. During the trip, your guide will explain the details of the tour and provide you with some initial commentary about the region.

In Rouen, explore the historic center. Next, head to Honfleur, 90 km west of Rouen. Enjoy free time to discover the port city, its picturesque streets, and historic houses. Lunch is not included.

Next, the coach takes you to omaha beach: Visit of The American cemetery of Saint-Laurent

Normandy’s iconic World War II sites, starting with the American military cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer. Explore the 70-hectare site symbolic of the Allied landings. If weather permits, visit Arromanches, about 25 minutes away.

The day concludes in Caen, where you’ll stay and have dinner with the group at the hotel.

Day 2: Caen - Saint Malo - Mont Saint Michel - Paris

Explore Saint Malo with a guided tour of the ramparts and cathedral. After lunch (free time – not included), visit Mont Saint Michel abbey, followed by free time for leisure and shopping. Discover the diverse aspects of the Normandy region, including history, architecture, and local cuisine. Travel from East to West across Normandy. Enjoy free time for souvenir shopping and trying local specialties. Return to Paris in the evening.
