Following breakfast at the hotel, join our driver for a journey to Tirano, where you’ll board the Bernina Train. The two-hour ride along one of the world’s most beautiful railway routes will take you through the Alps, weaving through tunnels and charming towns, culminating in the crossing of the Bernina pass to St. Moritz. Enjoy free time exploring this enchanting town before meeting your driver for the return to Milan (meeting point in St. Moritz). Overnight in Milan.

Start your day with hotel breakfast and prepare for a brief visit to Como, a renowned tourist hub near Lake Como and the Alps, promising breathtaking views of the lake and Alpine valleys. Lake Como, also known as Lario, is famous for its Y-shaped form and the charming town of Bellagio. Reach Bellagio by boat, where the meeting point of the lake’s southern arms provides stunning landscapes with the Alps dominating the northern horizon. Explore the village, wander its narrow streets, and enjoy a leisurely lunch (not included) at one of the many restaurants or cafes. Afterward, continue your boat journey to Tremezzo/Villa Carlotta, where you’ll meet your driver to embark on the Bergamo adventure, a city rich in history and art. With its unique urban structure, featuring the vibrant città bassa (lower town) and the renowned città alta (upper town), Bergamo is a treasure trove of medieval charm. Check in at your Bergamo hotel and relish a delightful dinner.

Embark on a journey to Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake. After breakfast, opt for a panoramic tour along the western coast to marvel at the Brenta Dolomites and the Moraine Hills of Lower Garda, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Explore the lush vegetation, including lemon trees, oleanders, magnolias, and bougainvillea, sampling locally-produced olive oil and wines. Head to Sirmione, the epitome of Lake Garda’s charm. Take a boat tour to witness the sun’s reflection on the lake, admire tree-lined shores, Sirmione Castle, and the ancient ruins of Catullus’s villa. Enjoy free time for lunch before proceeding to Riva del Garda on the lake’s north side, known for its Venetian-style historic center. Wrap up the day with dinner and an overnight stay in Bergamo.

Begin your day with breakfast before embarking on a journey to “fair Verona,” an open-air museum. A local guide will lead you through its narrow streets, unraveling the city’s rich history spanning classical to Germanic influences. Discover remnants of its Roman past, medieval structures, renaissance palaces, and formidable fortifications, creating a captivating fusion of art and history. Verona, famously the setting for two of Shakespeare’s plays, including the iconic “Romeo and Juliet,” invites you to explore Juliet’s residence and legendary balcony. Following Verona, head to Franciacorta, known for its grape-friendly soil, ideal for winemaking. Enjoy a light lunch and savor local delicacies and renowned wines. The day concludes in Milan for an overnight stay.

Wake up refreshed in Milan, the fashion hub! After breakfast, explore the Fashion District, home to iconic boutiques like Versace, Prada, and Armani. In the afternoon, venture to Alzaia-Naviglio Grande for a boat tour in Navigli, an enchanting district known for its canals and lively nightlife. Cruise along Naviglio Grande with a delightful cocktail and snacks, admiring historic canal-side establishments turned into bars, restaurants, and art galleries. Pass by San Cristoforo sul Naviglio, one of the city’s oldest churches, Canottieri Olona’s watersports headquarters, and the renowned Vicolo dei Lavandai—an open-air laundry area used from the 18th century to the 1950s. Opt for an audio guide for historical insights or enjoy the journey with fellow travelers. Overnight in Milan.
