Itinerary
Welcome to Rome! After arriving at the airport, make your way to your hotel and spend your first day in the city as you please. At 7:45 PM, meet at your hotel for pickup and head to Via del Teatro Marcello. Our local guide will take you on a journey to discover the wonders of the Eternal City, charming during the day and romantic at sunset. You will explore the Jewish Ghetto, one of Rome’s most beautiful neighborhoods, rich in history and with a true Roman atmosphere. As you know, Rome is famous for its beautiful fountains, and we will visit the Turtle Fountain (Fontana delle Tartarughe) in Piazza Mattei. The Jewish Ghetto of Rome is the second oldest in the world after the one in Venice and is considered the heart of Roman cuisine. Next, you will walk to Piazza Della Rotonda to admire the illuminated Pantheon, a former temple of Marcus Agrippa that was later converted into a church. This is the only ancient Roman temple that has remained unchanged throughout the centuries and is stunning at night. Next, you will stop at the Trevi Fountain, where legend says that if you throw a coin over your right shoulder into the fountain, you will return to Rome someday. Your walk will continue to Piazza di Spagna, one of the city’s most popular squares, known for its setting at the bottom of the Spanish Steps. You will walk up these famous steps to enjoy a lovely view from the top! After this intensive and rewarding walk, we will end the experience by treating you to a creamy and delicious gelato. The tour ends in the Spanish Steps area, where you can enjoy the rest of the night on your own. Return to your hotel on your own and stay overnight.
You’ll start your day at 7:15 am by departing from your hotel in a deluxe coach and heading to Assisi. Once you arrive, you’ll have the freedom to explore the medieval walled town at your own pace. You’ll have some free time for lunch (not included) before hopping back on the bus and heading to Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its Palio horse race held in the Piazza del Campo. Finally, you’ll check into your hotel in Florence, where you can enjoy dinner and a good night’s sleep.

Florence’s rich history can be seen in its many monuments, churches, and buildings like the Santa Maria del Fiore, commonly known as the Duomo. You’ll be amazed by its magnificent dome, built by Filippo Brunelleschi and the “Campanile” tower, partly designed by Giotto. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the Baptistery, where Michelangelo imagined the “Gates of Paradise” bronze doors. You’ll also see Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo della Signoria (also known as Palazzo Vecchio), and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Enjoy lunch at a typical Tuscan restaurant in Piazza Santa Croce. In the afternoon, you can stroll the streets of Florence on your own or take an optional short trip to Pisa, one of the four main historical Marine Republics of Italy, where you’ll visit Piazza dei Miracoli and see the famous Leaning Tower. You’ll also see King Renzo’s Palace, Palazzo Podestà, and the basilica of San Petronio, one of the largest in the world. Bologna is a food lover’s paradise, be sure to enjoy a delicious meal on your own.
