Itinerary
Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be greeted and transported privately to your hotel. At 19:00, convene with your Tour Director at the hotel’s Reception Desk for a welcoming meeting, where you’ll also meet your fellow travelers. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Your accommodation is at the hotel.
Start your day in Barcelona with a buffet breakfast at your hotel. Begin your city exploration with a visit to the Barcelona Pavilion, an architectural marvel from the 1929 International Exposition, showcasing minimalism. Afterward, discover the Sagrada Familia (entrance fee not included), an unfinished masterpiece by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. The afternoon is free for you to explore the city at your own pace. In the early evening, join your fellow travelers for a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant. Your accommodation is at the hotel.
Start your day with a hearty hotel buffet breakfast. Head towards Girona, a city where the old quarter retains its historical charm and has even served as a backdrop for popular films like Game of Thrones. Enjoy some free time in Girona before crossing the border into France, arriving at Carcassonne. Optionally, for an extra charge, indulge in an early evening boat cruise along the Canal Du Midi. Sip champagne as you glide along this historic waterway, originally named the “Canal royal en Languedoc” in the 17th century and later renamed the Canal du Midi during the French Revolution in 1789. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Start the day with a buffet breakfast at your hotel. Explore the medieval fortress, Cité de Carcassonne, on a guided city tour. This citadel, dating back to the Gallo-Roman era and restored in 1853, earned a spot on UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites list in 1997 due to its remarkable preservation and restoration. Spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure in this picturesque medieval town in Southern France. You’ll stay at your hotel.
Start your day with a hotel buffet breakfast. Today, we head to Nimes, a city that’s often dubbed the “French Rome” due to its remarkable Roman heritage. Nimes boasts iconic landmarks like the Arena of Nimes and the Maison Carrée. Our Roman-themed exploration continues with a visit to the Pont du Gard, an ancient Roman aqueduct bridge constructed in the 1st century AD, spanning over 50 km. This marvel was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1985, thanks to its outstanding preservation, historical significance, and architectural brilliance. Afterward, you’ll return to your hotel for accommodation.
Start your day with a buffet breakfast at your hotel. Today, we’re off to explore the renowned Provence capital, Avignon. Our first stop is the Palais des Papes, a monumental medieval Gothic structure of immense significance. Once a fortress and royal palace, it served as a pivotal seat of Western Christianity in the 14th century. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this architectural marvel holds immense historical importance for the Papacy. We’ll also take in the picturesque Pont d’Avignon. For an in-depth experience, you have the option to join an additional Rhone River cruise with lunch to Villeneuve les Avignon (extra charge applies). Return to your hotel for the night.
Start your day with a hotel buffet breakfast. Our first stop takes us to Chateauneuf du Pape, famous for its wine, producing around 13 million bottles annually. Then, enjoy a unique wine tasting and light lunch at one of Provence’s most exquisite cellars. Rest at your hotel.
Start your day with a buffet breakfast at your hotel. Embark on a full-day excursion to immerse yourself in the allure of the Côte d’Azur. This area is renowned as the heart of the French perfume industry, responsible for crafting more than two-thirds of France’s natural fragrances used in perfumes and food flavorings. Get creative at a fascinating perfume school as you craft your very own fragrance (and yes, you get to keep it!). Our journey continues to the beautiful city of Nice, where you’ll be comfortably accommodated at your hotel.
Start your day with a buffet breakfast at your hotel. Today, we’ll journey across another European border, heading for Milan, the capital of Northern Italy and one of the world’s fashion hubs. Enjoy a city tour, where you can marvel at Milan’s Cathedral, a stunning example of Italian Gothic architecture and the fifth-largest cathedral globally. Milan also boasts the renowned La Scala opera house, one of the world’s most prestigious venues. You’ll stay at your hotel.
Start your day with a buffet breakfast at your hotel. We’ll begin with an early departure towards the Lake Garda, where you’ll enjoy a scenic boat ride and a light lunch in one of Europe’s most enchanting spots. Next, we’ll explore Verona, the legendary city of Romeo and Juliet, with some free time for you to explore at your leisure. Finally, we’ll reach Venice, the city of canals, where you’ll check in at your hotel for the night.
Start your day with a hotel buffet breakfast. Embark on a guided walking tour, beginning at Piazza San Marco, also known as St Mark’s Square, which is Venice’s main public square. It’s often referred to as “the drawing room of Europe,” a statement commonly attributed to Napoleon (although unverified). The afternoon is yours to explore this incredible city at your own pace. For a more immersive experience (additional fee), consider the optional Murano & Burano Venice Bay cruise (Laguna). You can choose to take a boat to Murano, a group of interconnected islands in the Venetian Lagoon, situated about 1.5 km north of Venice. Murano is renowned for its glass-making traditions. Another option with extra charge is to visit Burano, an island located in the northern part of the Venetian Lagoon, near Torcello. Burano is famous for its exquisite lacework and vibrantly colored houses. As the early evening approaches, gather with your fellow travelers for an unforgettable Gondola ride to our Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant.
Begin your day with a buffet breakfast at the hotel, followed by a private transfer to the airport. This marks the conclusion of our services.
