Exploring Galilee – A blend of Religious sites
The Galilee region in Israel are known to be the holy place of the Christian faith. According to the Bible, Jesus spent his entire life there preaching the words and teachings of God. The stunning views of Galilee make these Religious sites more beautiful where thousands of Christian pilgrims visit these sites each year in Israel and praise their Lord.
The entire journey exploring the Galilee requires 2 to 3 days where you can get a hold of the magnificent Sea of Galilee and its coastal area. The amazing-colourful city of Haifa is not to be missed! As you move forward along the coastal line you will be welcomed by the sight of Armageddon, a valley at the foot of Mount Megiddo, mentioned in the Bible (16:16), where the final fight will take place when the Universe will be near to its end. Next on, you can see Mount Tabor, another famous Christian site, located to the west of the Sea of Galilee. It is a biblical site where Jesus’s appearance was transformed.

Tiberias: The famous Israeli city located at the western part of Sea of Galilee is Tibrias, a site where it is recorded that these were the waters near Tiberas on which Jesus walked (Matthew 14:22-33).
Magdala: An ancient city, also called as a fishing village during the times of Jesus and home to Mary Magdalene that was damaged during riots but the remains were later recovered.
Ginosar & Mount Arbel: The cliffs of Mount Arbel offer a vast view of the Sea of Galilee and the green farmlands below. After a hike to the Mount Arbel visit Ginosar, a kibbutz where a boat belonging to Jesus is placed at a museum.
Mount of Bealitudes: Mount of Bealitudes is the place where the Sermon was presented by Jesus and was attended by a mass. You can enjoy the landscape scenery from this hill. The Church of Mount of Beatitudes is a breath-taking site for Christians and marks the location, where the Sermon was delivered.

Tabgha: Tabgha lies on the shore of Sea of Galilee and it is believed to be the place where Jesus performed multiplication of the loaves and fishes to feed people. It was a miraculous event for the people who witnessed it.
Church of St. Peter: An important biblical site near Tabgha, where Jesus handed over the leadership of the Church to Simon Peter (John 21:1-24).
Capernaum: The second home town to Jesus where he formed many holy acts including healing of the ill people and of those who were possessed by demons. The famous sites in the town of Capernaum are, the ancient synagogue, and the remains of the house of Peter now turned into a Church.
Yardenit: A place of great significance to the Christians where the Jordan rivers flows, southern side of the Sea of Galilee and it is said to be a baptism site where millions of people come yearly to indulge in the spiritual activity of being baptized as Jesus did (John 1: 28-34).
Kfar Cana: The town of Kafr Cana holds the historical event to when Jesus turned water in to wine (John 2:1-11). A wedding Church in Cana is a reminder till today of the miracle.
