With this tour we'll make our way to Southern Israel, heading through the Judean Hills and past the famous Inn of the Good Samaritan. We'll take a short stop just at sea level to make the most of the great photo opportunity, before we continue to head below sea level to the Dead Sea. We'll stop at our first point of the tour at Masada, where from here we'll head to the plateau summit via a cable car to tour what still stands of Herrod's palace-fortress, now 2,055 years old. Some of the structures here are truly incredible, with a bathhouse and various palaces. Once we've explored this area, we'll head onto our next stop, heading past the oasis of Ein Gedi and Qumran, the very place were the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. We'll relax for the remainder of the day on one of the many lovely Dead Sea beaches. The Dead Sea has it's name due to the extremely saline (salty) waters, where it is 8.6 times as saline as the normal ocean. Because of this, the water is naturally a lot more buoyant. Another great use of the resources offered by the Dead Sea is the mud makes for a fantastic face mask!

On this tour we'll head past the Inn of the Good Samaritan, descending beneath the sea level towards the ancient city, Jericho. Within Jericho we'll be able to see the very sycamore tree that was once climbed by Zacchaeus as he attempted to get a better view of Jesus himself. Within the bible, the story of Joshua tells of him marching his troops around Jericho's city walls until the collapsed, at the very walls in front of you. The tour takes us out of Jericho and onwards to Bethlehem, passing the Mount of Temptation, to the place that Jesus was born over 2,000 years ago. We'll stop firstly in Manger Square, in the near vicinity to where Jesus was born. We'll enter the Church of the Nativity which is home to the Grotto where the famous story of Jesus' birth took place. From here we'll head adjacently towards the Church of St. Catherine and the caves held there, which are home to many ancient tombs and shrines. From here the tour passes Shepherds Field and returns to Jerusalem.
